BLACK MOTHER AND OPAL MANO FIGA
Anicent Romans and Greeks wore the Mano Figa to ward off evil spirits and protect the from the evil eye.
In. addition to using the sign to ward off evil spirits, the gesture has also been used across cultures to insult someone or to deny a request.
Our figa is hand carved by master artisans from black mother of pearl, set in 14K yellow gold, with a pear shaped Australian opal at it’s center.
Figa length is approx 30mm with a 5mm jump ring
